You are using whataboutism to justify… checks notes vetoing an investigation into war crimes and genocide. I don’t see any call to action to vote Republican here. I was calling for Biden to step down from the election over how he handled Israel/Palestine, and i was right to do so! You don’t get a free pass to genocide because someone else would have done it harder, or because it happened to some ancestor.

But those “peace deals” are basically giving Israel everything they want, including troops along the Gaza/Egypt border, which no one else supports. And there is still zero talk about holding war criminals accountable from the US or Israeli camps.
Trump isn’t the one shipping military aid to Israel. Trump isn’t the one vetoing every UN resolution involving Israeli war crimes. Trump might want Israel to bulldoze over Gaza and the West Bank, but he isn’t the one facilitating what is happening there right now. Palestinians dont care who is the president of the US, because either way they get slaughtered while those conducting the genocide go unpunished. We need to call put our current leaders to do the right thing, even if their opposition is going to do an even worse thing.
