I get most of my stuff from 1337x but fuck me, it’s just all Hallmark TV films and wrestling series now!

Edit - sorry I’m not actually living in the UK; I fell asleep and missed the answers lol Thanks everyone, I’ll do a bit more investigation into your suggestions

Private trackers will probably be your best bet imo if you want to stick with torrents, any popular genarl private tracker will probably be enough. If they dont have it already you can request it and someone will probably have it uploaded in a few days (unless its something really obscure). If you can seed long term and maintain a good ratio then getting into more specilized tracker wont be a issue. If you want I can check if I still have an invite for Torrentleech, they might have what you are looking for.

      Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah I did wonder about that. The only private one I’m a member of is MAM which was fairly easy to get in to, but wouldn’t have a clue how to sign up for others

Its usually through a part of the forums they have, you might need to reach specific requirements to see them. I got into most trackers im on through open signups. Others allow you to do an interview and if you pass that you get invited.

If you cant access the invite forums then making requests is your best bet, they are usually filled quickly and keeps you from having to watch your ratio on multiple sites.

If also just checked and have a few TL invites. If you want one shoot me a dm

You’re a legend! I googled torrentleech and to my great surprise, Firefox filled in the login info and apparently I already have an account.

I have no fucking clue I signed up about a decade ago but hey ho 😂

          Thanks for the pointers!

Maybe private trackers? I’m not a member at these but TVCUK and TheEmpire do tend to get mentioned as trackers with that type of content.

EDIT: TheEmpire apparently does not include UK in their torrents per the other comment.

Only upload TV and Radio shows that are PRODUCED IN A COMMONWEALTH COUNTRY or IRELAND. The UK is not included!

Also requires you choose a binary gender on account creation, demands your home ip address, requires you have 0.8+ ratio after downloading 35GB (which sounds impossible due to the limited user pool as a home seeder that doesn’t upload new torrents) or pay. Private trackers are creepy

Edit: it seems most popular shows don’t count towards download but do count towards uploads and that’s how they expect you to maintain ratio

The first couple of weeks on a private tracker are always pretty rough, until you can build up your ul/dl ratio high enough to get some breathing room.

Some sites make things easier on newbs than others.

If possible, look for recent freeleech torrents, especially popular ones, download them even if you aren’t really interested in the content, and seed them 24/7 to build your ul stats…

I’ve been torrenting for 20+ years and I’ve heard Usenet mentioned a lot but have never needed to sign up. Do you know if there’s a newsgroup that’s specifically UK based?
