Answers made in lemmy don’t seem to make it back to mastodon however. I assumed the whole conversation gets mirrored. Just something to be aware of I guess.

In the middle of this post is an example with the link to the actual postmade from Mastodon.
It works when you post with your Mastodon account and mention the community.
But this comment is in Mastodon, right?

Interesting that that’s your takeaway. It’s definitely one of the overarching themes in my poetry right now.
The checkmark marks posts as read. If you want to view posts marked as read you have to enable this in the settings.
Settings > Account preferences > View read posts
There is no shortcut at the top right to quickly toggle or like there is for hidden posts. Not sure why. There is also a button that quickly clears the next 25 read posts. The + at the bottom right also has that button.
