“Your subjective experience needs to be the same as my subjective experience” in more words lol
It totally does… But I kind of want it anyway
Don’t be silly. If one should get double tapped, you have a progressively smaller gun. For emergencies
Yeah this is my experience as well. I don’t have much technical knowledge about it, but Firefox with ublock seems to be the enemy of captcha and CloudFlare
For the first time, I caught loss before loss was pointed out to me 😅
I read a few and didn’t see this. I’m from a smallish town and ended up adopting the community gym. Best decision of my life, saved me from a really rough time. Gymrats are far friendly than their rep gets, most of them are just guys that just wanna bullshit and push shit. A community rec center is also a great option, or a beer league. Just stuff that forces you outside, even when you pull the “but I don’t wannaaaaaa”
Thirdly not op. Prefer them over any of my other sock-tions.
Also also yes
Lurking for recipe. Don’t mind me
This is gonna give me a hernes (hernia?)
Okay so I forgot how big the sun is and had that absentminded mental picture moment of “oh it would make a big bang as something 3/4s the size of the sun would hit it”…
This picture was a very helpful reminder of just how out to lunch that thought was. Don’t trust your absent thoughts, folks 😅
This is a Canadian mining company that discovered it by partially finding a researcher to investigate. After about 8 years, their researchers literally said “we’re forced to conclude that this was caused by the above.”
The mining company was not happy, the CAD government put a moratorium on mining for further research, and now the company is paying to have other research completed cuz they “dispute his findings” 😂 I’ll see if I can find the article
Edit: the article. https://www.cbc.ca/news/science/oxygen-ocean-study-conflict-1.7273929
Chewed on the no politics at the Olympics comment for myself and I think where I landed was that the Olympics should be apolitical. I do think these countries should be punished for their actions, however, with the number and types of international destabilizing events increasing, I think this is a quick win for international cooperation. Something all humans can get behind. Doping obviously should be punished, but that’s an athletic issue.
Obviously the precedent of excluding countries has been set, so there’d be vitriolic pushback, but I think it would be worth it to have one majorly public institution (read: in popular awareness) that doesn’t judge, it just lets athletes compete.
Thoughts?
Ah but you assume I will remember to BUY Chia seeds 😂
Realistically it looks like the majority of my fiber intake is about to become oats and popcorn…
This is weirdly sound advice 🤔
In my experience, your first sentence sums it up nicely.
They assume a moral high ground because they’ve adopted a diet that is generally deemed healthier and better for the environment (I don’t always agree with this).
But unless they’re also doing all the things we could all do better (e.g. not buying new, not upgrading the the latest and greatest, not taking 40 minute showers, not eating out every second day), they’re only somewhat less guilty of environmental damage than the average person, but they’re taking a generally undeserved “holier than thou” position and then shoving it down your throat. This isn’t everyone, and I don’t really care what you eat, but these are the vegans that get under my skin.
I need so much more context
This is the one! They’re ridiculously effective, so much so that my home provinces is sinking like 250 million into building 5 more of them over the next 5 years
Lol I agree with some of your points. The beauty of subjectivity is that you expressed an opinion, and that I can say with equal authority: Linkin Park is a great band and your opinion is incorrect
