In Denmark it is required by law that you have a bare-minimum insurance (to cover if you damage someone or something else). Is this not required in your country?

I have never understood why you need to register ahead of time to vote in US. It seems like an unnecessary blocker. In Denmark you just show up on the day, state your SSN, show ID and get a ballot.

Jokes on you, in Danish it is “Skildpadde”. “Padde” is toad, sure, but “skild” doesn’t really make any sense!

(Perhaps it is an ancient Danish word for shield (skjold), but no one would use it)
