Most illustrations of ovaries don’t even include that lower connection to the uterus. I was wondering how the body doesn’t enter menopause in situations where the fallopian tubes are removed but the ovaries are left in. Now I know.

Sorry to hear that mate. It might just take some time. You said you just moved, so no one knew you at that event. Show up at more events, so people have a chance to remember you. Make sure you make a good impression (nice clothes, cologne/perfume, smile, respect consent etc) and it’s just a matter of time!

Also, PDX has multiple venues and multiple types of events… the one you went to may or may not be the best type for you. Keep looking! Maybe even ask other attendees where else they like going, after chatting for a bit to get to know them.
