I also just stumbled across this, the rumour is Switch 2 but it could be NSO for the Switch honestly.
The GameCube controllers for Switch are wired currently, not wireless

I don’t know what else it could really be, I saw some people rumour DS as well but it just seems very unlikely
Interesting considering the NSO trial is rumoured by some people to be another console. I’m thinking GameCube but we won’t know until it’s announced.
I still find this quite weird.
Having an alarm clock that connects to the internet certainly isn’t something that I thought we needed.
I can try to, I do have notifications on Sync though if anyone needs to reach out to me (and I have other fediverse profiles that users can reach out to).
I seem to have mentioned a user, not the community lol (I’m not a regular Lemmy user, messaging through the Sync app).
Not sure about the Animal Crossing one, they don’t particularly look active but the person who runs the Splatoon one certainly is active I’m fairly sure (I assume they appear inactive since there’s been much less posts on the community since we’ve been unable to mirror from Mastodon)
I don’t manage the community anyways, it looks like 0.19.6 I’d have to wait for unless I’ve missed something?
Are there any updates on this? Pretty frustrating that after FOUR months that posts still aren’t mirroring over here and it’s causing communities to appear less active.
It’s mainly empty since we’re still unable to mirror over and I don’t particularly want to copy and paste to Lemmy.
👀
I believe it was a shared effort between NorthWestWind, Binette and Martinbasic. I’m probably missing a few people but they were the main people who organised and worked on it, it all happened in our Matrix space.
I’m still not sure how I feel about this.
