we can decide ourselfs if we want mac, windows or ubuntu (no other distro allowed). Our code runs in docker containers and except for the IDE our tools are web-based for the most part anyway, so it doesn’t really matter which OS you use. though I heard there were quite a few issues with docker and Mac when the first M-chip Macs were used. it’s a software company in Germany with ~150 people.
This and the online-only are the reasons I no longer use onshape. While I don’t mind for a majority of my stuff to be public it just doesn’t make sense for everything and then you can’t even use it e.g on longer train rides without internet.
For me it’s the medium link. Nothing worse than clicking on a link on mobile just to see that paywall. On desktop I automatically redirect to an alternative fronted but that doesn’t work in the app.
I bought it but it kept crashing during start, so steam wouldn’t register play time and wouldn’t allow to review as verified to warn others. Alternative launchers 🏴☠️ did work and I can highly recommend the game. Just don’t get it on steam if you’re on Linux.
