Off to my Parkrun. Sore knee again so hopefully I’ll take it easy.

I grabbed it from an image search. This is the website - https://dogid.com/blogs/dogid/six-safety-tips-for-running-with-a-dog-that-pulls
Bad sleep so couldn’t get up for a Parkrun this morning. Managed to get out an hour later with the doggo. My knee seems to be playing up a bit, so I guess I’ll ice it for a bit. Just starting to get my motivation and consistency back after my injury period, so don’t really want to get another so quickly.
I did my first Parkrun this morning. I’ve been saying I’ll do one for ages but I’ve never managed to pull myself out of bed. There were probably 100 people in the wind and drizzle. Very welcoming and very varied in running ability. I got a PB so I’m pretty happy that I got up. Would recommend.
Gentle run this morning with the doggo. Still sore from the weekends fun-run. Anyone take supplements for muscle soreness here? Thinking I might need to try some
First race ever for me tomorrow, so no run today. It’s a 10k and although it’ll be hard for me with my current fitness, I’ve done the distance before and am looking forward to the group running experience. Just wish it wasn’t such an early start. 7:30 gun, but public transport in on a Sunday morning means I have to leave home at 5:30.
Out of town for a farm stay holiday this last week. Made it out for a few runs along the river through beautiful forest. I really love running in the country. Reset my PBs as I realised stopping and starting my watch wasn’t really giving me accurate times. Relying on the auto-pause feature from now on. Finally feeling injury free 🤞
Sick of being injured. No run today.
First run in a few weeks this morning. Felt pretty heavy and slow. Much slower pace than a few weeks ago… Good to get out there again though. Hopefully injuries will stay at bay for a while.
My foot injury had flared up so I’m taking a short break. My first 10k fun run in a month or so, so hopefully I’ll get back out there soon.

Went for a sneaky run in work hours yesterday, which means I don’t feel that guilty about not going this morning - so currently enjoying a coffee. Full month off due to being clumsy… Feels good to be back out there.
Well f*** you too
Ha ha… Actually yes! He was out the front pulling me along for most of it…
First run back today after a self inflicted clumsy injury whilst working from home. It’s been about a month since my last run.
Wasn’t too bad, quite a bit slower than where I was at, but have decided I’m going to focus on consistency rather than stretching for a pb every run from now on.
Injured foot is a little tender, but I think I stayed on the right side of effort to keep it under control. I’ll see how it goes over the next few days.
My Patagonia running shorts have built in firm boxers. So good.
Oh. I forgot about that… I’ll try to find out somewhere else
Feels like my patella…
