I do woodworking as a hobby. It doesn’t make money unless you invest in a full workshop and scale up production to the point where it would basically be a second job. Often the material costs alone are as much as it would cost to buy a completed item.
I’d still recommend it as a creative outlet though. There’s something satisfying about seeing that coffee table in the lounge and thinking “yeah I made that!”
I don’t know how people can rely on trains for a commute without getting sacked. Do they have to catch the train 1-2 hours earlier than they should need to?

I’m trying this year. My pepper plants didn’t sprout until July and didn’t mature enough to produce anything (thank you cold, cloudy, rainy UK summer!) so I’m going to keep them indoors near a window, and hopefully they’ll have enough time to produce next year.

No one is stopping them from forming their own state on their own land. In fact most of the world supports it. But they choose not to because they want the entire land that Israel is on despite not having the rights or the means to obtain it.
It’s impossible to remove the state of Israel without evicting / killing it’s Jewish population. They are surrounded by entire states that base their culture on wanting to kill as many Jews as possible. What do you think would happen if the entire land suddenly became Palestine and they weren’t permitted to protect themselves anymore?
They also stopped the press getting early access to it for reviews, so I think this is more driven by them thinking that the game will be a flop and trying to get as many day 1 purchases as possible before word gets out that it’s not a good game.

Phrase 2 or 3 are normally used when you are expressing a common desire.
“I wish this skyscraper would just fall on top of me so I don’t have to go to work tomorrow” “I want the same”
