Hey man, you do what you have to do. Good luck either way!
Hey man, you do what you have to do. Good luck either way!
I’m sorry, it mega sucks and unfortunately you can only pick from the other two remaining options. If you’re not part of the targeted minorities or vocally a part of the opposition, here are some tips on assimilation:
Essentially, start studying what other people did to survive under similarly oppressive regimes. The change won’t happen overnight, but if this is going the way I think it’s going, your access to options will become increasingly limited so do what you can now to get ready.
Alternatively, wait until it becomes clear that you’re a political target, travel somewhere where you can get refugee status and claim asylum once you’re there. You don’t want to leave this until it’s too late, and it’ll get increasingly harder to do, but there’s no way to tell yet what the trigger could be.
Ding ding ding! This is the right answer folks. US citizens will be lucky to get fair elections (if at all) for the foreseeable future. There is no counterweight to what lies ahead, the doors to hell have been opened and no one is coming to save you. If you are in the US, you have the following choices: leave, survive (read: assimilate or hide), or fight.
Slaves. The answer is slaves. And the framework for this already exists because prison labour is legalised slavery. They have already said they want to imprison anyone they don’t agree with. Given that includes all kinds of minorities and people who don’t agree with them politically, they are pretty much spoiled for choice. If you are in the US and fall under either of those categories you should be looking at how to get out.
Here’s how I think this will pan out:
Step 1: Mass deportation
Step 2: Mass incarceration
Step 3: Work camps
After all, the US legal framework allows prisoners to be used as slaves, does it not? And the beauty of a fascist system is that enemies are so very, very easy to find.
I don’t buy the argument that he has dirt on them anymore. They believe in this shit, they don’t need convincing.
I recommend anyone living in the US in the lower end of this chart to carry your papers or at least a copy on you at all times from now on.
Hobo salad: Canned kidney beans, canned sweetcorn, canned tuna, salad dressing. If I’m feeling fancy/not lazy I’ll add some chopped shallots or scallions.
Fuck this noise, go vote.
Oh yes, but that needs to be first on the list for sure.
Edit: on second thought, make it last on the list. It tells more of a story.
I’d add a couple of things to that list:
No idea, but I hate/hate the tree of life. If you do go watch it and you love/hate it, let me know so I know to avoid it lol
Is it a beautiful abstract mess in the same vein as The Tree of Life by Terrence Malik, or Under the Skin by Jonathan Glazer? Because if it is, I think I’ll skip it. To each his/her/their own!
This is impossible to guarantee or control for. Birds migrate, you never know who might make a pitstop at your feeder. I’ve spotted birds that were so far off their normal range it created a buzz in the local birding community. There’s a non-zero chance something endangered or at least very rare could stop by your feeder.
If you’re worried about making sure your cat gets enough stimulation there are a lot of articles and tips on things you can do that require little effort on your part (like, even a cardboard box full of crumpled paper can do the job).
Yeah Combogesic is an example of combined ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Advil also makes a combo of the two as well. The main issue to keep track of what you’re taking and take care that you don’t exceed the daily dose for each. That’s something to watch out for whether you take them separately or in combination with one another.
As I said lower down, you can take ibuprofen and acetaminophen (paracetamol) together . It’s advised you wait an hour after you take one type before you take the other to see if the first medication works well enough. There are even medications sold as a combination of both. What detrimental “synergistic effects” are you talking about?
Where have you been told this? Are you perhaps confusing acetaminophen for something else? Doctors will tell you that you can take ibuprofen and acetaminophen (paracetamol) together . It’s advised you wait an hour after you take one type before you take the other to see if the first medication works well enough. There are even medications sold as a combination of both. What you shouldn’t take ibuprofen along with other Non-steroidal anti-i inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like aspirin.
Fuck the polls, go vote.
Fair, but on the off chance it does help, you might as well take that precaution.
