Apparently that finally happened while we weren’t looking. https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/firefox-androids-new-privacy-feature-total-cookie-protection-stops-companies-from-keeping-tabs-on-your-moves/
Well shit! How long has that been there? I still use Firefox (ok, Librewolf and Mull) but I had given up on ever seeing that on mobile.
Thanks for the useful info. Still, I don’t think I want to fool with it until it’s available via GUI. That’s just me.
And I hope you are right about the rest being quicker.
But they have historically moved pretty damn slow
I’m sure my command line game is weak. Do you have a solution for connecting to Bluetooth and for timing out to login screen and blanking it after a certain period?
Exactly. I could use it as my daily if the settings panel was more complete.
I agree
I couldn’t even connect Bluetooth until I switched to Gnome again
Not in the long view it wouldn’t be that bad but we’ve seen other projects take so many years. Look how long it’s taken Wayland.
That’s my plan. I’m back on Gnome until feature parity.
I’m just afraid it’s gonna be another 2 years before it’s ready for everyday use
Thanks for the answer. I guess I’ll have to patiently wait and use Gnome in the meantime.
It’s invite only now?

That isn’t a break. They are forcing you rank them by most, least, and between.
It would be perfect except that the fingerprint protection includes forcing the screen refresh rate to the lowest common denominator. Scrolling is unbearable.
They need to report whatever number they want while always using the highest rate instead.
I just blocked it’s Internet access
I love reader mode. It can force dark mode, a pleasant font and font size, and stop those pop-ups that appear as you scroll. Firefox reader is better than anything I’ve seen on Chrome.
