That one time I called my teacher “mom”… 😭
Me! I am ambidextrous.
When I was 5, and I asked the question of where babies come from, my parents explained to me that when a man and a woman love each other very much, they produce “seeds” and “eggs” which then seed a baby in the mother, and these “seeds” are transfered through a special kind of cuddle. I found it amusing and asked, “so, people are like flowers? 🥺” (I had a phase back then where I was obsessed with flowers…)
There were anti-drug ads on TV and I asked my parents what they were about. They said that there are “bad pills which aren’t medicine”, that a doctor would say are very bad, which will make you act in a way that isn’t yourself and also ruin your health.
A SNES I have that is so old it has yellowed with age (The yellow color is due to oxidation of the plastic that was used). I don’t even know if it still works… 😭 The last game I played on it was Super Mario World and I experienced a corruption in which the screen went completely black and there was a rumbling sound in the background.
I haven’t played that game yet! But there’s an excellent wiki which allows you to check each game’s compatibility. It looks as though the game has some issues with visual glitches when rendering in hardware mode. In software mode, it is rendered more accurately but the resolution cannot go beyond PS2 native.
Same! Have you played the Ratchet and Clank original trilogy? The old games have this special charm to them that I don’t really see in the newer games of the series.
PCSX2. It’s an open-source PS2 emulator, and a dang good one at that. It has a high degree of compatibility and functionality. I absolutely adore it since so many of my favorite games happen to be PS2 games, and after playing some of my favorite games on this emulator, I realized just how much the PS2’s native resolution doesn’t do the graphics of the PS2’s best games justice.
It is also free and available for Windows, Linux, and macOS!
I’m a big fan of SunnySkyz and always wanted a similar site that was specifically for science news, so thank you for making this!! 😃
What an adorable looking ship! I can almost see a Lombax and his robotic little friend piloting it…
It is really disheartening that some people are eager to believe egregious lies, and wishing that such lies were true, rather than understanding and having compassion for their fellow humans. The video which I’ve seen being circulated around as “evidence of cat-eating Haitians” involved an individual who was not Haitian and was not even from Springfield.
It’s saddening that so many people devote their short lives on spreading hatred and violence when they could be putting efforts into furthering the human race and helping us to advance as a species.
Make my bed after waking up.
Longlegs. Pretty good movie that leaves you guessing with a neat twist at the end
Great! Weather’s nice and cold which I love, and I just ordered takeout!
I also cannot believe that I missed out on playing Jak and Daxter until now!
How did it go?
What’s the point of the government hijacking three airliners but then deciding to use a cruise missile on the Pentagon? The explosive dynamics of a cruise missile and a giant hollow tube which carries people are different and both look nothing alike.
Luck.
Flight 93 left wreckage when it crashed. The FDR and CVR were located around 20 feet/6 meters underground. The reason the parts are small is because the plane was put into a nose dive at a steep angle and crashed with a very high amount of force.
Coincidence. It’s a building which would be one of the first targets for a major terrorist attack.
Yes, for a peaceful world free of war, famine, and disease.
There are many people who like to fill in the gaps of things they don’t understand with conspiracy theories. It takes some degree of understanding of physics to understand why the buildings collapsed in the manner that they did, why hollow aluminium airliners accelerating to extreme speeds imposed so much damage to the buildings, and also why there is typically less aircraft wreckage to be found when especially high speed crashes are involved.
In your case, it’s probably just your social circle as none of my friends believe in 9/11 conspiracy theories.
My biggest fear is that the Nintendo Switch 2 won’t be able to dispense coffee.
Corny jokes aside, germs.
