Not thar knowledgeable myself, hopefully someone else can help!
Yes, they assume the user is already familiar with the classification
Keeping !showsandmovies@lemm.ee alive
Trying to help !patientgamers@sh.itjust.works to get more activity. There was !oldgamers@lemmy.world started a few days ago. I suggested the mod to join patientgamers, they were not convinced. Let’s see how it goes.
!expectationvsreality@lemm.ee got a nice boost with a post too, that seems a community that can be easy to grow.
Maybe you can start discussions yourself? A generic “how is everyone doing with our hobby”?
From the Office, “I declare bankruptcy!”
their hobbies or interests.
What are your hobbies or interests? There is probably a community that could use more discussion indeed. I usually recommend moderators of niche communities to set up a weekly thread so that people can discuss things. The best is to have a few users posting daily, but that’s harder to find the most niche the community is (hence why focusing on more generic communities probably makes sense with the current userbase)
Great movie
Definitely agree, the rythm could have been improved, your suggestion makes sense!
Pronouns in display names are important
The mods should probably consider merging those communities.
!factorio@lemmy.world seems to be the most active ones, they other much less
It is implemented on Lemmy 0.19.4. Lemmy.world is one of the few instances still running 0.19.3

Hey,
Just stumbling upon this community. Looks cool, good luck!
I was always surprised there was no US instance.
A way of scheduling posts within lemmy.

Maybe a little icon that shows where things are being posted from. So if I see a user with a mastodon showing up in the feed with a formatting mistake ill know why.
That’s the Fediverse icon next to each comment and post?
It would be nice for instances to have a monthly server cost that tracks donations.
Lemmy.zip has that on their home community !home@lemmy.zip
Search the remote post URL in your search bar, it will open locally
This is available in Lemmy 0.19.5, which almost all instances use except Lemmy.world
Everytime I see your username I smile
Not that I know of, sounds like a cool idea
