11·2 months agoThanks for the reply! It just seemed euphemistic to me as cages have a predominantly positive connotation with safety or protection. Roll cages, faraday cages, and shark cages protect those within. Most other cages are for the protection of those outside, which cars obviously aren’t.
The only negative connotation cages have is animal cruelty or false imprisonment, and even then you sympathise with those within the cage.
Now say car-nut, petrolhead, or even just driver, and I have clear enough picture painted.
Doesn’t quite fit, but I guess. Im curious why the OP chose to use a euphemism though.

1·2 months agoHey the third was a good enough retread of the first, all up until the part where Riddick’s hot bod can apparently cure lesbianism.
Compared to USB-A, not really that much of a game changer (it’s still the most common for me). Though I do not miss the three rotations to get it in.
Compared to Micro-USB? Holy fuck, I almost refuse to buy anything still using Micro-USB ported now. Mainly because I can’t never find the fucking cable for it.
