MJ12 Detachment Agent
Note, this is not the same developer that made Mad Tower Tycoon and Mad Games Tycoon (both excellent games). Superficially, this does not look as well developed as Eggcode’s now classic titles.
IMO, the cost of the DLC is low enough that’s it’s worth getting for a new run of Turmoil.
Haven’t tried the DLC, but I can strongly recommend the base game. This is what good gameplay should be like.
Just noticed that. 😆
Except that the Arena Commander trademark doesn’t reference the term MMO. Soulsinger does. Neither of them reference karaoke.
If it’s a mini-game, why add the term MMO to the description?
Not saying Soulsinger is in development (or even will be), but also I see no reason to deny verifiable facts.
I have 200 hours and all achievements in Planetbase. 😀 Mods and DLC would be awesome.
A trademark by itself doesn’t mean a game is being (or will be) developed.
However, the coding of the Soulsinger trademark is very explicit.
Downloadable computer games software; downloadable video game software - Entertainment provided via the Internet, namely, providing online massively multi-player video games; on-line entertainment services in the nature of online computer game tournaments; providing on-line information in the field of computer gaming entertainment; Entertainment services, namely, ongoing multimedia programs about a computer game featuring a fictional universe, accessible by web-based applications, mobile phone applications, and computer networks
Soulsinger was trademarked as an MMO.
I am surprised they never released a DLC.
SteamDB has Planetbase at around ~250 CCUs; not too bad for an indie game almost decade after release.
It’s a relatively simple formula, but there is enough to build and develop and a big map selection to make each run somewhat unique.
I haven’t played it, but based on the screenshots, this is hardly worse than your typical “modern military shooter”.
That was very specific. :)
FWIW, it seems better than most first person UE5 “retail property X simulator” games that are so common today.
Haven’t tried the demo, but it looks very promising.
The tycoon/economic strategy scene is relatively small, so I think it’s worth supporting indie developers.
With early access, I do agree that it’s a personal choice. I can see why some people would always avoid early access.
No offense taken, just occasionally sharing articles that are relevant to this community. I do mostly post direct links.
This is a great interview, from back when RPS was good.
I wonder if he is trying to target younger and more casual gamers; people who don’t know that he is a liar and a scammer.
And they cheated the winner of the Curiosity game.
He created a literal scam game; Legacy. They had an NFT land ruse where you could buy high value land for your in-game business.
When the game released no one played it and the “NFT land” turned out to be worthless (Molyneux did get to keep the money though).
Hopefully the dev can fix some of the major. It is a solid concept and I like the art style.
