Lady Julie Montagu is demanding an apology from an unidentified person who strangled her duck after it was attacked by a dog.

    The only thing I could think of would be putting the morally wounded animal out of its misery. Terrier teeth are usually fairly sharp, so I’d bet the duck didn’t have too long to live after the dog got to it.
