i played it. Here are my thoughts https://hackertalks.com/post/4156518

Tldr: it’s fine for a visual novel at the $10 price point.

As far as conservative goes, why does anybody care about a tiny art project that’s getting no attention? If you truly don’t like projects like this, don’t talk about them, giving them attention is what they want.

I didn’t know either and I consider myself a conservative gamer. Apparently they got 150,000 euros of grant money from the Norwegian government, which is a pretty obscene misuse of tax payer money. It’s not even about Norway, it’s about America.

I feel like that’s the bigger story here.

Governments love to give away money for special projects. That’s one of the problems of a large government.

We don’t know the parameters of the program, it may have been just a subsidize Norwegian gaming. To keep the industry going or help develop it. It may have been to push social agendas. Which that game definitely tried to do so they got good value for money there. It may have just been like an artistic support Grant.

They have a full-time staff of 15 people, they worked on the game for 5 years. So $150,000 does not cover the cost of the game … Not by a long shot

The credits for the game mentioned 309 different people, so if they spread that money inside of Norway that might help the industry
