Yeah, I was pretty skeptical about watching it. It’s very bold with how they animate the characters but it felt right contextually.

I’ve been really skeptical of that anime since reading the manga and dropping it after way too many loli rape jokes and having somebody piss themselves practically every other chapter to the point where it was clearly some kind of fetish thing.

Is this like Usagi Drop where they just straight up removed the disgusting creepy parts? Because otherwise I’m staying a thousand feet away from that.

the anime has more stereotypical fetishes. (slightly) less piss, more gigantic boobs. i did enjoy the art style (it’s got the whole neon color palette thing going on, almost like Steven Universe of all things) but tbh if you disliked the manga i don’t think you’d like the anime either.

I haven’t read the manga. But sounds like you wouldn’t like the anime. Usagi Drop was quite an amazing work, this won’t be like that. But by the end of the anime I did find myself feeling sad for the character a fair bit.

But you might be able to tee hee out of large scale industrial sabotage though if you’re skilled enough.
