Astronomy is one of those things that people think they like until they find out it’s mostly math, physics, and chemistry, and looking at cool pictures of space is not directly involved.

Yeah, I want to act like that is what I meant, but I was confusing astronomy with astrology and was talking out my ass.
Astronomy is pretty cool, even if it’s complicated. Maybe I can say that because I’m still at the “looking at cool pictures” phase.
I had to google what an HRD even is, and I still don’t fully get it, but I get that it categorizes stars into their size and heat.
It might not be an ice breaker at the first date, but when the relationship is more established this can be a pretty good topic.
