They replaced them with a higher proportion of saturated fats to get the same result. Since it’s a mixed oil emulsion, there’s little appreciable difference in the texture of the product. Twinkies were not so lucky.
Didn’t they ban sale of margarine? Or was that margarine with trans fat and now they make it with seed oil?
