Not great. Sort of lost my will to post after a bunch of experiments over at !actual_discussion@lemmy.ca

If I post pure questions in the weekly thread, the only people that respond are the few that can articulate things in detail.

If I post questions with some opinion added because people respond more frequently to those (even if I do not believe the opinion), we get scads of aggressive comments and downvotes which buries the thread quickly.

To top that off, if I respond in other threads in Lemmy, I get people digging up the weekly threads (or responses therein) and trying to use those as ammunition against me. It’s super disheartening.

Honestly not great, though I have mostly lost time and energy to find or make stuff to post that hasn’t been already. !linux_video_editing@lemmy.sdf.org and !trans_voice_help@lemmy.blahaj.zone have had some traction and others posting, but a lot of the obvious content to post has been. I’m the only one to have ever posted to !high_quality_gifs@lemmy.sdf.org and that particular thing has nearly burned me out of a hobby. I made it because the community at LW seems to be permanently parked with no reply from the mods. Definitely shouting into the void there.

!truecomics@midwest.social is almost at 700 subscribers, and is the number 4 community on midwest.social by users/month.

Quite good, we recently surpassed 600 sub on !lovecraft_mythos@lemmy.world and 900 sub on !scp@lemmy.world. I can’t but thanks the other amazing mobs and the users!
