Couple of stoner associations they miss, as the article only really mentions the use of the pokey:

    1. the part of the body, under the gas pedal/wheel part, is completely flat (unlike the rest of the body) to allow for scraping up weed after it has been ground up.
    2. when you turn the lighter upside down, after sparking it, the flame gets considerably bigger for bong rips.

The bottom part is also really good for packing a bowl, especially after you’ve hit a green one a couple of times

Back in the day when everyone still smoked flower, I would see people do this all the time with their lighter after a couple of hits. Personally I found it much more effective to just use your finger, so that’s what I always did instead. It packs down so much better.

Years ago in school I had a lighter confiscated by a teacher (forgot it was in my pocket and it went through the wash). First thing they did after taking it was smell the bottom of it.

Every one I have is, have never really had to throw one away till the flint grinds down, even then those are replaceable too.

“dude… dunno how you’re gonna smoke this under a few miles of ice, but like… give it a rip, we come in peace.”
