    Sure! I’d be happy to.

    • Biden took the biggest action on climate change in US history; the goal of the climate bill is to put us on track for a 40% reduction in US emissions by 2030. It’s way too late but that’s clearly not Biden’s fault since he started fighting for it basically as soon as he got into office, and managed to achieve passed legislation which is several standard deviations above the norm for “let’s ignore it until we’re underwater and on fire” US politician status quo.
    • Biden ordered the forgiveness of half a trillion dollars in student debt, about a third of the current total balance, and the Supreme Court told him no. He’s still managed to forgive ~$150 billion worth of it even against stiff Republican “no we need that money to give to Wall Street criminals pls” resistance.
    • Biden introduced a bill to legalize marijuana federally, which the Republicans killed in the senate.
    • Biden achieved the lowest unemployment in 20 years after having been handed an economy that was still digging out from the apocalypse that was 2020.
    • Wages at the bottom end of the economy have actually been growing, outpacing inflation, every single year that he’s been president. The top 10% of wage earners actually have lost some ground, it’s true – that probably makes “wages are growing” not feel true to most Lemmy users, because for tech workers, they’re shrinking. But the majority of US wage earners have been making more and more year by year. $15/hr is the new unofficial minimum wage in a lot of sectors. That’s not enough, but it’s sure as shit better than when he came in and unemployment was 6% and a lot of people and businesses were still dependent on Covid-aid stimulus payments.

Oh, and he also raised the minimum wage for federal workers to $15/hr. That doesn’t really do anything; the act of congress which is needed to create a national minimum wage got stalled because of Republicans; he was limited to only economic policy things which raised the income level for working class people, not an official cap at the bottom end, which would also be a good idea yes.

Biden has paragraphs of accomplishments sure give you that

but nothing he does trickles down all the way down just stops at high middle class if that

biggest action on climate change? a national forest is being razed to train cops to suppress citizens right under his nose. has he at least been down there to assess the situation? did he mention it at the debate?

Biden’s stance on cannabis is the same as nicotine vaping - regulate the hell out of it until only major corporate options and sus products are able to get to consumers

he chose a prosecutor for a vice and has a history of crime bills

what does it matter if the unemployment is low if people’s jobs do not cover food and housing?

in the two places I stay the pay is below $15 an hour more times than not all the while a single bedroom apartment is over $1000

vehicle costs are astronomical between the taxes, maintenance, and insurance

people are on the edge of the cliff in this country but Biden has kept us afloat? his political career on top of Trump’s donations to both parties over the years and his presidency have screwed this country

did you forget Obama and Biden’s change and hope? was over 15 years ago and where are we now? backtracked more than we have gained and yes Trump did a lot of damage but he is not the sole perpetrator

but hey let all support the blue or red team because no other options exist and supporting the other options that in reality do exist is called throwing your vote away

the third parties will never win because the people allowed to vote in this country let themselves believe the two party lie
