We’ve recently been discussing the capless clones. Doodlebud just made a video comparing the real deal with the clones.
The A2 mimics the faceted art deco style of the vintage Pilot Capless. The A1 has the syling of the newer Vanishing Point, although insofar as I can tell they both use the same mechanism.
Yeah, there’s no real need to get the jinhao if you have the a1 IMHO.
I don’t like the style of the A3 personally.
There’s also the A2, which is a slight revision of the A1 using a plastic barrell.
