Then I do not give a single fuck, and people that do are probably bots. Fuck off Billionaire newspaper.

Well the headline isn’t factually wrong, and no, 99% of any one actually watched the debate.

The headline was possible because of Biden. And honestly, this wasn’t even his worst mistake of the press conference.

That god-awful final answer… It was basically him saying he’s too arrogant to step down in time for us to get a candidate into place that can win. He’s losing in the polling now and refuses to acknowledge it.

I had him slightly in the W column prior to that final answer. He went back into the L column with that final answer.

The final answer had me screaming… “What?!? No one is telling you that it isn’t likely you’ll beat Trump?” He’s like… Well, if the polls show me in the negative… Someone needs to show him the polls.

Yes, it was embarrassing. As soon as he said it I literally winced in pain. It was bad.

But. And of course there’s a but. He even addressed later in the conference that him misspeaking should not over shadow the results he’s getting. And he’s getting results.

Man has stated he’s had speech problems loong before he ran for president. Like, still a kid in school stuttering times. He sucks with names. That’s an unfortunate fact. But why does that trump (pun intended) everything else?

A recession typically follows after interest rates come down (interest rate cuts are a leading indicator of a recession because the Fed is usually too slow to cut).

He was right about jobs going up. He was right about strengthening NATO. He was correct about the Border being more secure. He said he wants to fight greedy corporations and scummy land lords. How is all that over looked?

Use you’re eyes to see what he’s actually saying. There was 3 or 4 gaffs after a day of talking to other world leaders on major world events. His actions speak louder than words

Is he perfect, no. Absolutely not. Still better than not only the other guy but any other alternative placed in front of us.

Absolutely agreed that he’s miles better than the alternative, and if forced to vote for him I will, but it’s not a good look for a party that markets itself as a sensible alternative to the dumpster fire that is the Republican party.

The man is clearly too old for the job and no amount of shining up the turd will make it anything other than a turd. Sure people will hold their nose and vote for it, but at the end of this whole thing, either way we’re all covered in shit. And the thing is, it doesn’t have to be that way.

If the party wanted someone diffrent they should have got someone else during the primaries. We all knew he was too old the first time. But, shockingly, he’s done a pretty alright job.

But there was still the chance to pass the torch earlier and it passed. If we fold now we old give into pressure by the Republicans. He’s doing a solid enough job. Replacing him now causes discourse withing the party and fuel their parties chants of how bad we are.

We know they already think he’s incompetent. Nothing will change that. They said he was old from the beginning. We know he’s old too. But he’s doing good.

I just don’t understand the pro-Democrat party crowd’s strategy. Why do they insist on keeping Biden as the Democrat candidate when that clown keeps nuking it’s own odds of winning more and more everyday with his stupid shenanigans? If the peoples who keep berating everyone to vote for Biden see Trump as some sort of ultimate threat, why do they insist on using a candidate that even they admit is hated by most of his own voter base against Trump? That sound like a terrible strategy to me. Shouldn’t they be mad at the Democrat party for taking such risk by insisting on a candidate so widely despised? Why don’t they call for a candidate that is actually likely to beat Trump? Why do they keep berating the folks who have made it clear that they won’t be voting for Biden under any circumstances when the over 60% of the Americans who don’t participate in politics are right there?

I see Trump as an ultimate threat to all sorts of things, and I DON’T insist on Biden at all. I’ll vote for a chimpanzee if it’s not Trump.

I honestly feel like not casting a real vote against Trump is voting for our future to be Handmaids Tale and patting yourself on the back for not supporting evil, when for all practical purposes you just did. It’s an abdication of civic responsibility in the name of nebulous principals that will have no effect on the future of the world and no chance of playing a real role in meaningful policy, but you do you.

The fact that the DNC and Democrats in general are a bunch of privileged, out of touch, self righteous assholes is NOT my fault. I hate it and I hate them. But there’s a lot at stake and many MORE people in this world will suffer, struggle and die under Trump than under Biden. It’s just math and all your ideology is VERY empty in the face of it.

I DON’T insist on Biden at all.

Maybe not you specifically but I’ve seen a lot of peoples do.

many MORE people in this world will suffer, struggle and die under Trump than under Biden. It’s just math and all your ideology is VERY empty in the face of it.

See, I think this is where we disagree.

You operate under the assumption that the things that the Republicans want to do couldn’t happen under Biden, presumably because you think he would block Republican policies, but knowing what I know about Biden and his policies, his willingness to “reach across the aisles” and give concessions to the right, his tendency to passively letting Republican bills pass without doing anything about it even when he clearly have the power to, his failure/unwillingness to roll back Republican policies from Trump’s last term let alone the ones that he expanded instead, etc… I’m telling you honestly, I don’t believe that for 1 second.

I have not seen ANY evidences that Biden would act against Republican politics.

Heck I haven’t seen evidences that he wouldn’t do a complete 180 and start supporting Republican policies that he used to denounce, it wouldn’t even be the first time he does it.

In your arguments in favor of voting blue, you (the peoples who tell everyone to vote blue) always use this assumption that Biden couldn’t possibly be as bad as Trump as an axiom, as if it was just obvious, you never bother trying to show that it’s true, you never question it, I certainly haven’t ever seen any of you questioning it or trying to demonstrate it. You just treat it as some sort of fundamental truth to the point you don’t even seem to notice that you are using it sometimes.

I haven’t seen any reason to believe that this assumption is true, on the contrary.

When I look at the 2 last US presidential terms, I don’t see a bad president and a worst president, I see a bad president who tell you that he’s gonna to terrible shit and does exactly that and an other equally bad president that pinky promise he wont do terrible shit but then do terrible shit anyways and blames the other bad president for it when he get caught doing terrible shit.
