and before you essentially counsel Ukraine to surrender Ukrainian territory to Russia for peace, maybe you could surrender some Indian territory to Pakistan for peace.

    I’m hardly a Modi fanatic, and don’t consider myself particularly nationalistic towards India, but no one embargoed Pakistan into the dust, or gave India weapons to defend its territory, in fact the US sent warships in support of Pakistan when India tried to stop them from committing genocide in Bangladesh, so why should India have to forgo a longtime trade partner because of a border dispute it has nothing to do with?

    I’m not saying Ukraine doesn’t have the right to defend itself, or even as a US citizen object to the US financially supporting Ukraine in the ways it has been, but there is very much a double standard in how people view these disputes when it affects the west vs when it doesn’t. Its not suddenly a world-wide crisis just because it affects wealthy nations.
