So, average German here. Person I have never heard of gets an award I’ve never heard of. Doesn’t seem very peaceful to me tho.
I’d say I’m interested in hearing the reasoning, but that would be a lie. It’s been a while since I cared about any such awards.
Yeah, anyone can just make up an award and give it to anyone. Thats not even really newsworthy.
No real opinion about it, tbh.
It’s a “price” handed out by a for-profit conglomerate, so it’s not really something I ever thought about in all the years it very briefly came up. In fact this is the first I’m reminded about it existing in 4 years or so? I doubt most germans have ever heard of the “Börsenverein”, nevermind it’s “price” or this author or what she wrote.
Journalistic standards in the West is how hard you blow the establishment.
