A new Angus Reid poll found only 21% of Canadian adults younger than 50 say they are definitely going to have at least one child.

    ‘non-breeder’, is that normal language?

    Of the non-breeders, 25% said they decided not to have kids because of childcare costs while 18% said it because of the lack of proper housing.

    The top reasons driving child-rearing delays include not finding the right partner (40%), financial and job market uncertainty (41%), childcare costs (33%) and housing affordability (31%).
