Wondering why Kamala Harris keeps saying we should have the “most lethal” military? She’s the leading recipient of defense industry campaign contributions this cycle.

The current Defense Secretary was on the Raytheon board. They’re openly campaigning for every vote but yours.

[Screenshot of Open Secrets section of Top Defense Recipients, Harris is Rank 1 with $1,362,095 and Trump is Rank 2 with $821,493]

Gee, 1.3 million sure is a lot compared to

    CANDIDATE COMMITTEE MONEY: $497,166,392

    OUTSIDE MONEY: $273,236,166

You really want to know why she said that? Because she wants neocons like Cheney to vote for her too. She will try to get as many people to vote for her as possible, and the best way to do that is spread the messaging out. Throw everyone something they can like.

It’s only in the fantasies of certain naive sorts that you can secure your win with some sort of ideologically pure messaging. The reality is the country has like 6 major ideologies in it, and whichever one you are, 5 won’t like you. This is why we do the compromise and coalition thing. Bernie understands that.

      I disagree.

Bernie and the Justice Democrats are failures and are sellouts only acting like they are for the working class.

Once people find that out, they decide to join and support third parties.

The duopoly will not help the working class; they are bought and paid for by the owner-class.

Yeah, money doesn’t override free will, only violence can sometimes do that. Choice always still remains though. Like, 200 years ago you could have a slave. They were bought and paid for, right? But they could still run away.

Being “bought and paid for” is really completely meaningless when it comes to living things, only inanimate objects really have to obey 100% of the time. That’s just common sense.

I do agree with the need to demand, though. Very important.
