I think that’s him saying “I understand that I can’t control what he says, because of the freedom of speech, but using my dead son’s name is going too far”

Yeah that tracks… as I said maybe in time of crisis and grief eloquence is not something we can expect.

I’m not a native speaker. In another post someone explained how to interpret the comment probably. I did not get that from the comment and with half the Americans being right wing nut jobs…
